Definition of a TV Producer Career
TV producers plan and create television shows both live and taped. They determine how the production will look, select the script, choose the talent, and coordinate sets, props, and lighting. These TV producers also manage the activities of broadcast personalities and other members of the production staff. Most TV producers work in comfortable, indoor settings at broadcast stations and television studios. In order to become a TV producer, you will need to work in an area that has a local television station, so urban or semi-urban areas are the most appropriate locations. This field is fairly evenly mixed between men and women
